CVS South Gloucestershire is the primary generalist infrastructure organisation in South Gloucestershire. It represents the interests of all VCS groups.

It provides three distinct services for local voluntary and community organisations:

• Capacity building;
• Training and development, and;
• Information and advice services.

It also represents VCS interests in the emerging partnerships in the South Gloucestershire unitary authority area.

CVS South Gloucestershire is as an enabling organisation that works in partnership with other specialist VCS infrastructure agencies and trainers to deliver services.

In partnership with West of England Consortium CVS South Gloucestershire:

• Is a delivery partner for the Capacity Building Networks project;
• Chairs the South Gloucestershire Voluntary Sector Forum;
• Chairs the Voluntary Sector Forum Steering Group;
• Is the main delivery partner for the consortium’s BIG Lottery project Reaching Out: Linking In, as well as acting as the lead agency and accountable body on behalf of the consortium.
