The Black Development Agency (BDA) Limited is the South West’s only Black Council for Voluntary Services.

BDA’s services include:

• Advice and information to new, existing and emerging community groups;
• Advocacy, training in governance/management issues;
• Business planning, organisational development, volunteering, publicity, marketing, quarterly newsletters, briefings and factsheets.

BDA has developed considerable experience and a positive reputation for working in real partnership with the BME VCS, promoting community involvement, community cohesion, and self-help

BDA facilitates the Consortium of Black Groups and its related BME networks, undertaking consultations on a variety of issues and topics relevant to the sector.

BDA is also a supporting specialist partner for West of England Consortium’s BIG Lottery project Reaching Out: Linking In.
