West of England Consortium is a partnership of local infrastructure organisations from the three unitary authority areas of Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. The consortium aims to improve delivery of support services to the VCSE sector by providing accountable, representative and well resourced infrastructure for the West of England. It’s made up of generalist and specialist organisations.
Building and Sustaining Infrastructure ServicesBASIS is the first BIG Lottery Fund programme to focus solely on developing voluntary and community sector infrastructure. The scheme aims to fund a more expert, consistently available and sustainable set of support services for front line voluntary and community organisations across England. West of England Consortium has funding from the BIG Lottery to deliver projects across the West of England area. It works with consortium partners (and others) in order to do achieve this in each of its three unitary authority areas and CVS South Gloucestershire is the lead agency and accountable body. |
