West of England Consortium is a partnership of local infrastructure organisations from the three unitary authority areas of Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
The consortium aims to improve delivery of support services to the VCSE sector by providing accountable, representative and well resourced infrastructure for the West of England.
It’s made up of generalist and specialist organisations and is one of 12 sub-regional consortia in the South West region.
This is a government initiative to strengthen the VCSE sectors by encouraging and enabling the delivery of infrastructure services.
This is a non-departmental public body set up in 2006 to take over the management of the ChangeUp programme and to work with other funders to build the capacity of the Third Sector. They exist to create a more effective third sector and do this by improving support for third sector organisations.
Improving Support brings resources together for the sector with 9 national support services workstreams focused on delivering training and development support to other support providers.
BASIS is the first BIG Lottery Fund programme to focus solely on developing voluntary and community sector infrastructure. The scheme aims to fund a more expert, consistently available and sustainable set of support services for front line voluntary and community organisations across England. |
